We have had so many unique opportunities to shine this year and this one is beyond crazy. We have a customer in Charlevoix that ordered a 6 foot, YES 6 FOOT, Black Walnut, board to use not only for Charcuterie, but her famous seafood boils! She wanted a handle so she can hang it up when not using. (she's going to need a really strong lag bolt in the wall) Final measurement is 80 inches!!!!!

WE HAVE GONE TO THE BIRDS!! Haaaa.. we are getting ready for our 1st show of the year, in Ludington! (August 8 & 9) Every year we try to retire 1 product and create a new one. This year we went in a whole different direction. I made Rustic bird houses, David made Baltimore Oriole feeders...The bird houses are made out of old barnwood, as I have a million scrap pieces from my bathroom renovation project! David made the feeders from scraps he had from making "who knows what." When introducing a new product, we only make a few to see if they are "sellers," so keep your fingers crossed they FLY off the shelves...bwahhhh.

We are on a roll over here! There was an inquiry out on FB, and my friend Carol Morrow threw our name out there. Well long story short, we got the job & here it is in our customers home. What's nice about custom orders is the customer is part of the entire process! This beautiful Oak board was stained with Provential to match her Oak hutch. Thank you Laurie Norris for trusting us to bring your vision to life!

This custom Boat Table is now in its new home..a 45' Sea Ray located at a marina in Muskegon! We met this couple from Georgia last year at our Ludington show. Almost a year later we get an email asking us to handcraft a 30 x 34 Black Walnut boat table! They wanted it by July 4th. Oh boy. How could we not make that happen? So off David went to find the perfect boards, glued them together and spent countless hours sanding, and sanding and sanding. 7 coats of marine finish and wa-la. He delivered it to their boat on Tuesday, ahead of schedule! (They are off traveling) Proves you just never know what opportunities will come your way. We've asked for a picture of the table when it gets installed..stay tuned!!

1. Does Dad like making pizza in his pizza oven? We have beautiful pizza cutters that make an amazing addition to his arsenal of pizza tools.
