Prayer Warrriors, Friends and Family: I have been approved for the permanent Spinal Cord Stimulator!!! I am so excited!!! The trial worked 100%... one week with no back pain... it was wonderful! I am having it done on August 9th. My good friend Kellie and I will drive to Flagstaff the day before, and stay in a little Air BNB across from the Flagstaff Hospital. The next morning at 7 am, we will check in to the Hospital and 6 hours or so later Kellie will drive me home. Please keep me in prayer that everything goes smoothly and that I get the same results as the trial! Thank you all for your love and positive thoughts! I am so blessed to have you all in my corner!! Prayer Warriors, Friends, and Family - I am having back surgery on Thursday, July 13th, at 10:30 am. They will be placing a Spinal Cord Stimulator from S1 to T2 inside my body and attaching it to a battery pack taped on the outside. All this high-tech stuff will be monitored and controlled by my phone! Amazing!! This is a trial run, and it will stay in until the 19th when they remove the whole thing. Crazy, right? Well, the purpose is to see if it reduces the severe pain that I live with every day. If it does, even 50% of the time, then they will put a new one in permanently with the battery on the inside.

Today, I come to you to ask for prayer and positive thoughts for my procedure. That the equipment works better than expected, that my pain is reduced tremendously or completely, and that my recovery is swift and easy.
