🦫 Well, this is awkward.
We heard there’s apparently only room for ONE cartoon beaver in Ohio.
So naturally, as a small, family-owned Ohio business, we felt compelled to introduce you to our brand-new, completely temporary, definitely-not-suspicious mascot.
Meet SOF-EE, the beaver. 🦫
She sells furniture.�She faces the other direction.�She has never sold a Beaver Nugget in her life.�And her legal department consists primarily of us Googling things.
All jokes aside, we stand with Beaver’s Mini Mart in Beavercreek.
There’s something that doesn’t sit right with us about a massive corporation rolling into an Ohio community and then taking legal action against a small local business over a beaver mascot… in a city literally named BEAVERCREEK.
Small businesses don't have enormous legal departments. We have families. Employees. Customers who know us by name. Owners who answer the phone, unload trucks, fix toilets, make Facebook posts and occasionally decide it would be funny to temporarily rebrand their business around a cartoon beaver.
We welcome new businesses to Ohio.
But we’ll always root for the businesses that were already here — the ones that built their names one customer, one family and one community at a time.
So from one Ohio family business to another:
