Welcome to McFair Finds!! Refinishing and selling home decor and furniture that are budget friendly!

NOW AVAILABLE $400 🤎

This one might be a new favorite! 🤎

This vintage dresser was headed for the dumpster! But underneath that tired finish was a quality piece of furniture with so much character and potential. From its gorgeous curved drawer fronts and fluted details to the original hardware!

This piece received a complete makeover, inside and out. Everything was thoroughly sanded and refinished, the old top was replaced with a beautiful new wood top that was stained and sealed, and the body was professionally sprayed with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane for a smooth, durable finish.

I absolutely love the contrast of the warm wood with the deep esspresso finish! This timeless piece blends vintage character with a fresh, modern look. Perfect for a bedroom, entryway, or even as a statement piece in a living space!

A special one 🤎

Some pieces mean a little more than others.

This dresser belongs to a special friend of mine — someone who is constantly cheering me on, encouraging McFair Finds, and reminding me through her own example to take the leap, trust yourself, and keep going! So when she found this dresser and asked me to help bring her vision for it to the finish line, I was pretty excited to be a part of it. (As she had already started part of the sanding 😉)

And seriously… look at this piece! The curved drawer fronts, incredible wood grain, original mid-century hardware and all of those little trim details give it so much character.

Originally in a deep red mahogany tone that was hiding a lot of that beautiful natural grain. I finished stripping away the red, cooled the wood tone with a warm neutral paint wash, added a few trim details and cleaned up the original hardware rather than replacing it!

I think that might be one of my favorite things about refinishing furniture — finding what made a piece special to begin with and giving those details a chance to stand out again. 🤎

And it feels especially fitting that this one was for someone who is always doing the same for me — seeing the potential in what I’m building and encouraging me to keep taking chances with McFair Finds. Wendy Summers Lyon thank you!! 💛

CUSTOM PIECE NOT AVAILABLE 🤎

A special custom piece for a sweet family 🤎

This solid pine dresser has been with their family for years, and with another little one on the way, it was time to give it a refresh!

What was once painted white was completely stripped, sanded, and given a soft paint wash to bring back a more natural wood look. I finished it off with simple antique brass hardware for a little warmth.

I love getting to give well-loved furniture a second life — especially when it means it can stay with the family that already has memories tied to it.

So thankful they trusted me with this one, and I hope it gets many, many more years of use with their growing family!
