Hickory Mountain Antiques is a Limited Liability Corporation owned and operated by Bob and Peggy Mowrey in Pittsboro, North Carolina since 1995. We also market their goods at several regional antique shows, including Liberty, North Carolina, Abingdon, Virginia, and Hillsville, Virginia. We purchase antiques from auctions and estates in North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be open this coming Saturday, June 13 , 2026 from 10 AM to 4 PM. A large shipment of antiques from the western mountains of Pennsylvania have arrived . We are still unloading the trailer . Here are just a few of the items. A circa 1850s two piece pegged corner cupboard with original wavy glass, hardware and a wide board , square nailed back .A pair of glass front bookcases with adjustable shelves . The double door cabinet is oak . The single door bookcase is mahogany . There is a large number of country smalls including benches , buckets , stools , tables, metal tubs , step ladders , ladders , collectible gasoline and oil cans,advertising signs and tins , crocks. , and much more . We hope you can visit us on the farm this coming Saturday .

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be open this coming Saturday , May30 , 2026 from 10 AM to 4PM . Here are just a few of the new items that have arrived in the main barn . An outstanding rare 4 stack cherry , circa 1901 barrister bookcase . Each stack has the original leaded glass . A Clark 4 drawer original spool cabinet , A number of smalls including apothecary counter top cabinets , primitive benches ,several granite ware and blue splatter ware pots and pitchers . A small sized tree vise along with , a primitive sifter . We also have some vintage Coke and Pepsi signs . We hope to see you this coming Saturday .

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday , this coming Saturday , May 23 , 2026 . We will reopen the following Saturday , May 30 ,2026 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be open this coming Saturday , May 16 , 2026 from 10 AM to 4 PM . Pictured are a few of the new arrivals to the barn . A seven foot , 3 board cherry harvest table with a large drawer . A large wooden wagon wheel ; a circa 1800s ,2 drawer country store table top cabinet ; an early cutting board ; a WW1 airplane doorstop ; and three drying woven baskets . Also , a 6.5 foot pine farm table ; a Ferry seed box with original advertisement ; a unique small goat wagon ; a pine blanket chest and a Cepacol advertising sign . A small wash tub mounted on legs with wheels and a drain plus much more . We look forward to seeing you this coming Saturday .

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be open this coming Saturday , May 9 , 2026 from. 10 AM to 4 PM .We have many new arrivals to our barns and cabin . Here are a few of the new items . A pair of matching oak map cabinets . Each cabinet consists of two separate stacks that have paned sides and the original hardware . An oak , circa 1800s , 12 tin pie safe with a large bottom drawer and the original builders label from Goldston , NC. A large number of unique smalls are also in the main barn including an early wooden wheel barrow, a circa 1700s cheese box in original hardware , appel butter pots , copper ware , a salesman sampler chest of drawers and a great number 9 bentwood butter churn with stenciling . We hope to see you Saturday .

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be open this coming Saturday , May 2 , 2025. From 10 AM to 4 PM . We are back home from the Liberty Antique Show with many antiques that are new to the barn . Pictured is a 6.75 foot pegged and square nailed harvest table , with a super large original drawer . We hope to see you Saturday !!

Hickory Mountain Antiques is setup ready to sell at the Liberty Antique Festival this Friday and Saturday , April 24 to 25 ,2026 from 8 AM to 4 PM . We can be found in spaces Q-1 and R-1 under a large tent . Here are a few pictures of our booth.

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be closed on Saturdays , April 18th and the 25th . We will be selling at the Liberty Antique show on Friday , April 24 and Saturday , April 25 , 2026 in Liberty , NC . We can be found under a large tent in spaces Q-1 and R-1 . The show opens at 8AM and closes at 4PM each day , rain or shine . The antique refereed show features over 300 dealers from throughout the US . We hope to see you at the show .

Hickory Mountain Antiques will be closed this coming Saturday , April 11 , 2026 . We will be selling at the Tarheel Antique Festival in Efland , NC on Friday and Saturday , April 10 and 11 . The show is open from 9 AM to 5 PM each day . We are located in spaces ac19 and ac20 outside under a tent . We hope to see you at the show .
