Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at last week’s shoot for a local university’s newly refreshed dining hall, a project our team is especially proud to have worked on!

Bright, welcoming, and refreshed with the everyday rhythm of campus life in mind, this space gives students a great spot to grab a meal and connect.

Stay tuned for the full case study and photos!

CJL Engineering wanted an environment built around how their teams already work, with easier movement between departments, open areas that bring people together, and quiet spaces for heads-down work.

Our team delivered furniture, flooring, and Falkbuilt Ltd. interior construction under one roof. Falk walls went up in nearly every room, with integrated displays, back-painted glass, and writable surfaces. Steelcase anchored the furniture plan across open workstations, private offices, conference and huddle rooms, touchdown stations, the cafe, and the lounge.

Falkbuilt walls installed far faster than conventional framing, holding a consistent finish room to room and taking real time off the construction schedule.

CJL now has a space that fits how their people work. Thank you to NEXT architecture, Rycon Construction, and Turner & Townsend for a well-run project.

The way people work has changed. Has your workplace kept up?

96% of leaders plan to update their workplace in the next two years, and the number one reason is flexibility. But flexibility is not just about where people work. It is about how they work, and whether their environment actually supports them.

Three things make the difference: giving people real choice in how and where they focus, integrating technology so it works with your team instead of against them, and designing spaces that can evolve as your organization does.

Your space should work as hard as your people do. Read the full Steelcase article to see how to make it happen.

As the need to improve connection and enhance adaptability at work continues to increase, having a flexible, well-designed workspace is crucial.

Congratulations to Pickering Associates on receiving the AIA West Virginia Merit Award for Achievement in Architecture for the Building 2000 Renovation at Momentive Performance Materials.

This project was a rebuild from the ground up, and the finished space is stunning! After a severe storm displaced Momentive's entire team, the challenge was to design a space employees would actually be excited to return to. They delivered exactly that.

Franklin was proud to be part of this project, and this recognition couldn't go to a better team. Congratulations, Pickering Associates!

Franklin’s Falkbuilt team partnered with Black Boot Builders to rework their office using Falkbuilt Ltd. prefabricated walls, moving beyond an open layout that had become noisy and outdated for their team.

As they explored different options, a local partner became critical. Being able to step into our showroom, see the product firsthand, and work through details in real time gave their team a level of clarity and confidence they couldn’t get elsewhere.

From a builder’s perspective, Falkbuilt offered a more efficient approach than traditional construction while delivering an elevated finish that closely aligned with their marketing package. Check out the video to hear their perspective.
