Absolutely beautiful pieces, both dating back to the 1950s! While I have a special appreciation for my original first-edition pieces from the 1930s, you truly can’t go wrong with just about any Magnalite piece, especially when it’s proudly Made in the USA! Keep that China-made cookware out of here! 😂
A closer look at these two beauties:
* Oval Roaster: 1950s, 13-quart, Model 4267
* Dutch Oven/Stock Pot: 1950s, 5-quart, Model 4248
One question I see come up frequently is what the letters following a model number represent. The answer is relatively simple: any letter stamped after the model number, or sometimes an additional number stamped beneath a handle, identifies the particular mold used to cast that specific piece.
I’ll never claim to know everything there is to know about these incredible pieces of cookware, but I’ve spent a considerable amount of time researching, collecting, and learning about them, and I’ve built up a pretty solid knowledge base along the way.
If you ever need a resource or have questions about Wagner Ware aluminum cookware, particularly Magnalite, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I genuinely enjoy learning more about these pieces and sharing what I’ve learned with anyone willing to listen. I could talk about this stuff all day long! 😂
