From an upgraded ceramics room and dedicated music area to a refreshed technical education suite and improved kitchen workflow, every detail was designed to support students and staff with the future in mind. The additions and renovations at South Fayette Township School District Intermediate School are making great progress! A new 3-story addition will provide more space for the district’s growing student enrollment and become a place where both the teachers and students can thrive.

Each floor has a designated grade level, with spaces designed to support students’ learning levels. On each floor, among the flexible classrooms, sensory rooms, and life skills classrooms, is a World of Work (WoW) area. The WoW program exposes young students to a range of occupations and skills, helping them identify their strengths and interests.

Our team recently had the opportunity to tour the Intermediate School to see the design team’s efforts and construction progress to date. It was a valuable experience to learn from one another and see the incredible work our team is contributing to creating 21st-century learning environments.
