Estate sales. Thrift stores. Treasure hunts. For me, every outing is an adventure, and every piece I find has the potential to reveal something special.

There’s joy in the hunt, but also humor—like when I roll up to the register with a cart overflowing with colorful glassware. Without fail, the clerk says, “That’s a lot of glass you’ve got there!” (It really is, every time.)

Some finds turn out to be mass-produced, but occasionally I strike gold—a handmade, jewel-toned piece from a renowned European glassmaker. Those are the ones that make the journey worthwhile.

Little did I know, those simple pieces were actually Moser crystal—timeless designs sold at places like Bergdorf Goodman. That moment opened my eyes to the beauty of vintage glass art and its ability to connect us with history.
