First….thank you so much for coming out to my first (and only😆) estate sale! So many familiar faces & lots of new friends! I forgot what an amazing community there is picking & saving all the things!
Second, shoutout to every professional estate sale company…what a s**t ton of work! They make it look so easy & in fact it’s brutal! So, next time y’all go to an estate sale-be respectful…organizing, pricing & figuring out the logistics is a mastermind in connecting them to be a successful sale plus dealing with customers…it’s ALOT!

A few other things:
*I could have literally signed up to do 3 more estates & a clear out from inquiries over the weekend. I flat out said no😆HOWEVER I have a HUGE project coming up soon & I am looking for ALOT of home decor so if you’re thinking of getting rid of some items-reach out! {more to come on this}
*a lot of smalls went out the door but there is some cool furniture-a few antique pieces, wicker furniture, vintage furniture, a beautiful Grandfather click, etc.
I am going to continue to help the family & get rid of as much as I can for them. I’ll be posting some pieces next week! All very negotiable!
*fellow small businesses/friends that sent texts inquiring about pieces. Got your texts-give me a minute-I’m exhausted. And the recovering broken back is evidently angry at me🤦‍♀️
I promise to respond this week!

My schedule is packed for the next two weeks with projects & travel so I won’t be back at the Bethel Park house until after the holiday. If you saw something but didn’t get-reach out!

It’s here!!!!!!
My very first (& only😫) ESTATE SALE!!! Friday 9-12; Saturday 9-1

Sooo….this house is small & packed & wonky (safe wonky but wonky-you’ll see) and in order to make sure all goes well (AKA SAFE)-we are only allowing 10 ppl in at a time. The good thing is…the weather will be dry & beautiful!

Also, no large bags are permitted in the house. There will be a place to hold your bag.
There will also be bags & packing outside (while they last).

There are cool things-classic things & and less than perfect things. I believe I priced fairly based on condition.
I’m a laid back chic BUT if you’re requesting lower prices & you already know I priced it fair…I might snarl at you. Seriously! That’s not to say…I won’t “bulk deal” however
just be fair & kind! It’s simple❤️

I’ll be doing a video a little later when I walk through so be on the lookout. I’ll try to show as many close ups as I can…videoing is not my forte so again be kind🤣

Anyhoo, if you haven’t seen…I’m helping someone out & having an Estate Sale in Bethel Park this Friday & Saturday.
Many, many eras of items & a lot of them! (she was 104)
Love angels-I got them; love collectible Lenox figurines-I got them too. You like lace & embroidery-I got it! You like classic, beautiful China sets-yup, got that too! Oh & jewelry…my goodness…lots of costume jewelry!
I have an entire household packed into a small 2 bedroom house that NEEDS to go!

Stop by Friday & Saturday & check out all the things you did not realize you needed!

Oh…& btw….this was kind of like a favor-I am NOT “doing this” now. In fact, it’s a one & done (God Bless Estate Sale people 😫) HOWEVER I am on the hunt for some really cool items so if you are downsizing or need a change-reach out & maybe, I can SAVE your things too😁
I just can’t do a sale for you😆like ever🤣

However, I am not as eloquent nor as educated as Michelle Obama so I have no qualms about saying this….the current administration are a bunch of trashy & ignorant (real definition) di*********es!
It appears tacky is second nature & class eludes them!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of catching up with a fellow creative after not talking for a while.
Can I just say….I love fellow creatives! Once we hear a need from someone-our eyes/ears are zoomed in & we’re on the hunt!

I expressed that I had a project coming up within the next few months & would be looking for some pieces…not even an hour later, I get a call.
She had found the exact pieces I didn’t know I was looking for!!!

They are lovely & big & beautiful!
And, I can not wait to see them transition into their new life❤️

Thanks Barb! I’m so grateful-they’re perfect!
And, thanks to a very dear friend for storing them until I rent a van🤦‍♀️

BTW-this is your reminder…when you see it get it otherwise someone else will!

Cleaning out my phone & the million pics I have & found these!
My sweet Caesar!

Everyone in my family wanted a dog for years-I said no.
I was not ready.

I’d look every once in awhile but nothing spoke to me until one day I was perusing CL & an ad spoke to me. I called-they were incredibly rude-wacky info about the dog/parents/size/etc.
it was a real clusterf*ck but something kept pulling me back to an ad with no pics just a description.
With both boys home from school, we decidedly to take a drive to Sharon, Pa & look. I still was not committed even after seeing the skirmish & adorable pup. I didn’t say yes until the Son came in & when the pup saw his boots he ran for his life-shaking & petrified. Guess who got scooped up instantly & was going home with us no matter what!
It was an odd place with odd people who we suspected of nefarious doings🙄
We were short $ - she raised the price so the kids literally scraped up an extra $5.00 in change from my purse & the car & off we went with the pup….
into a friggin snowstorm (no snowstorm was called for🤦‍♀️) with a cute ass puppy who was throwing up everywhere in the back seat (of my husbands car🙄)

He was a holy terror once we got home-refused to be crated/contained (the crying-my God).

There was absolutely no doubt he was what we were missing.
After a year or so we learned he was not in fact a Shepherd/Elkhound-he was a sweet little Shepherd & Norwegian Buhund mix. What was expected to be a 75 lb dog became a 30 lb reality…my mini Shepherd with a small frame & curly tail! (Who still had the strength to knock me on my ass & break my back🤦‍♀️)

What I learned from my baby boy…
*I may not know “when” but when I know it’s time-it’s time!
*that not everyone can be caged or contained
*that EVERYONE deserves the unconditional love from a pet

Oh & I was reminded…
Everyday Eclectic had some AMAZING things!!!
I’d kill to have some of those beauties!

Anyhoo, here’s to more puppy kisses, saving the animals, saving all the things & sharing beauty with y’all!

I start almost every morning on the “East lawn” aka front porch where the magical sunrise greets me each day…this am was exceptional!
Tonight I’ll finish the day in the “West garden”….watching the Sun go down…going over all that happened today & always giving thanks🙏

This…the sky, the air, the trees, the mountains, the birds chirping, the bunnies galavanting, watching the Sun slowly rise….this is being rich to me!
And, I am!
I’m richer than I ever knew I could be…I just had to sit back, accept the mishaps, admire the successes, give thanks & open my eyes because nature AKA Gods art will give your soul the peace you need & provide the hope you long for❤️

All the “stuff” we’re told that will make us happy, the marketing that is shoved down our throats just causes strife in our mental life; jealousy in our emotional being & physical exhaustion from trying to keep up!
It’s all a lie…complete BS!

Go outside, take deep breaths, listen to the birds/children laughing, look around at the beauty & be still…there is no better therapy than to know this magical place we call home is ours…free of charge…we just need to open our eyes❤️

I hope everyone gets a chance today to smell the roses, feel the sun on your face, witness a miracle in nature, feel the grass beneath your feet because living in this & admiring it freely will solve a slew of problems 🙏

When you slow down….life gets easier, kindness becomes natural & stress dissipates….trust me, I know!
And, I also know without a doubt that if Jeff Bezos offered me all his money in exchange for this…I’d kindly say F*ck off because absolutely no amount of money can provide what nature & all its beauty prevails every single day!

I’m so incredibly rich & grateful that all of the work I’ve done in my life since closing the Shop has manifested into a beautiful & healthy life…a life of simplicity & acknowledgment of the world right outside my door🙏

Continually learning that it’s the small things that really matter!

The Lemon Tree.
This sweet little thing was a gift from my friends in 2020. The world was in chaos & my husband was on life support suffering from Covid while I was at home alone with Caesar 🐕 & our beloved Prince 🐈 (thank God for the fur babies!).
Scared is an understatement.
I put out a call for prayers for my husband. The response was shocking … people I didn’t know, people from across the United States. It offered the exact amount of hope I needed.
The next day, I get a text from Darcy saying they had left something on the front porch.
A Lemon Tree (I wanted one bad!)
with the reminder “When life sends you lemons, make lemonade”.

This friggin plant rules me-no s**t!
I have been in a fight for my life to keep this thing alive🤣I’ve almost killed it 3 times all in the midst of it producing 2 AMAZING lemons for me (at Christmas no less).

What you see here is growth. Evidently she did not like her winter residence & let me know by dropping 90% of her leaves & started drying up. I thought this was the end for sure.

This lil Lemon Tree & me have been through it but we keep going even when the struggle was tough! Shining when we’re supposed to & retreating when it’s time.
We talk every morning & I’ve ask if she could produce some lemons this year for me🤞Having faith she’s gonna shine this season🍋

Life has been a struggle since Covid & me and Lola 🍋 have been through it but this year is about resiliency, appreciating the small things & recognizing the small things are the really big things!

Lola, the Lemon Tree reminds me that small gestures from friends can be the most heartwarming gesture that keep you going; that determination can keep things alive & that faith is imperative for a healthy life❤️
We all face tough times…keep going, trusting & believing because resiliency is a kick ass super power!

Ps…that prayer request that reached almost 1k. It happened within 24 hours. The same 24 hours that my husband gained consciousness & there was a flurry of hope. A few days later he said…it was crazy, I literally felt lifted & warm & supported.
It was the same 24 hours.
