This is the kind of tool I'm using for picking up the rhinestones and beads. Nothing special trust me! I don't even have the wax end anymore because it broke off, and the pointy end chipped off and bent on mine as well. So here it is! Nothing magical! Dip the end in some glue so whatever you want to pick up will stick to the tip. I hope this helps and solves the mystery. LOL
Some of these tools also have a very sharp pointy end. Mine was like that till I broke the tip off.
