We are just exhausted from people stealing from us. It feels really sh*tty. We do our best to be kind to all, to price things right, have stuff at all price points so hopefully everyone can afford things in our store. Today we put some under $20 rings out. Less than an hour later, 3 were stolen. We even locked up our expensive rings, which honestly hurts business because people are less likely to shop them when they are locked up. But, we have TEN cameras in our store- we notice when things are missing, we go back and we FIND YOU!
We always notice when something is missing. If you think you are doing something special for yourselves by stealing from 2 women just trying to have a place for the community to enjoy, pay our employees well and just make it, then I don’t know what to say. Stealing affects us, not only in our pockets, but our hearts. Like, what did we do to you to make you think you can just take what you want and enjoy your precious things? Do you think about it every time you look at the ring on your finger you slipped in your pocket while we were distracted? Do you think that crystal you put in your bag when we were in the other side of the store will bring you good energy?
Anyway, here’s our latest happy theif. We have all angles covered in our store. If you steal you WILL BE POSTED ON THE INTERNET. We also will prosecute all shoplifters from here on out. We have caught people and had them return our items, and we have taken down our posts and dropped charges. Bring the stuff back, no hard feelings but please do not return.
If anyone has any ideas on better ways to stop theft besides walking behind everyone who enters the store, having everyone leave their bags at the door, or even having running screens of all our cameras at the register, please let us know because this is truly getting out of hand.
