Our continued hunt for repurposed items to help in our renovation of our sweet little 1907 cottage. Sadly, one of our favorite places that I’ve been buying vintage items for our house and cottage, is going out of business. I’ve been shopping at rehouse for a couple decades. Leaded glass door, flooring from the 1800’s, and upside down pharmacy cabinet I used in our kitchen as an island etc. So many treasures! Just glad we got some last minute items to breathe new life into. Follow along as we start the renovation process…

It’s been a minute! After all the work we’ve been doing at our home, it was time to open up our seasonal cottage. Many beautiful days ahead hosting friends and family. 🥂

We’ve been so busy with multiple projects at once. Here is an update on one of them. Still some fina touches to come like: new curtain and rod, adding trim to door and painting, covering the plumbing under the sink (I can’t stand seeing it) and replacing the doorknob. I love the Hollywood Regency glamour of it!

It’s a wee bathroom but packs a vintage punch. Shelves are being added, some are being replaced. Artwork is changing. I think it needs this wallpaper. What do you think?

What a week, and it’s only Tuesday! Needed something warm and comforting. Pulled out my bone broth from the freezer that I make by simmering for 40 hours. It’s liquid gold. Added some portobello mushrooms, baby spinach, cooked farro, frozen chicken cilantro wontons, red curry paste, light coconut milk, green onions, fresh lime and topped with cilantro. SO GOOD! Progress on the house? S-L-O-W

We're in the trenches! Our house is chaos, projects are dragging on, and we're still stuck on the prep work. But thrifting for vintage goodies and whipping up comfort food is keeping me sane. Can't wait to enjoy the finished product!
