This is our favorite stage. ๐Ÿชต

Before drywall, before paint, before anyone picks a light fixture โ€” when the whole structure is still visible and everything is exactly as square, level, and plumb as it's going to be.

Everything that happens after this is finish work. Everything that happened before it is what the house stands on.

Homeowner tip: take pictures at this stage. Every wire, every pipe, every blocking detail. You'll thank yourself the day you want to hang something heavy or add a fixture.

"But my shingles still look fine." ๐Ÿ

Okay. What about everything under them?

The ice and water shield in the valleys. The flashing where the roof meets the chimney. Whether the nails were driven flat or overdriven through the mat. Whether your ridge vent and your soffit intake are working together or against each other.

Shingles are the part everyone can see. Roof failures almost never start there โ€” they start at a detail somebody skipped.

New England winter is 90 days out. An inspection takes 45 minutes and costs nothing.

September 1st. Best building month in New England. ๐Ÿ“…

No 90 degree afternoons. No black flies. Ground still workable. Materials moving on schedule.

If it's on your list for this year, this is the window โ€” projects that start now get finished before the ground freezes and the schedule tightens.

Kitchens. Baths. Additions. Decks. Repairs you've been putting off since spring.

Free estimate, 7 days a week. Takes about 45 minutes.

Buses are back on the road this week. ๐ŸŽ’

Which means the house is about to feel different โ€” quieter at 9am, and a lot more crowded at 4pm when everyone needs a place to do homework, work from home, and exist separately.

If last school year made it obvious you're one room short, now is the time to talk. Fall and winter builds mean the space is ready before next year's chaos starts.

Additions. Bonus rooms. Finished basements. Home offices that aren't the kitchen table.

๐Ÿ”จ 30+ years in business
๐Ÿก 1,200+ projects completed
โญ 5.0 average Google rating
๐Ÿค 85% repeat and referral clients
โœ… 98% customer satisfaction
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Veteran owned, family operated

That last number is the one we're proudest of. When 85% of your work comes from people who already hired you โ€” or from their neighbors โ€” you're doing something right.

Want to be number 1,201?

Some sites don't give you an easy answer. ๐Ÿชจ

Stairs down a rocky grade to the water. No two treads at the same elevation, nothing square to work off, and a footing plan that had to respect the ledge instead of fighting it.

This is the kind of job where thirty years of experience stops being a marketing line and starts being the reason it got built at all.

Tricky lot? Steep grade? Those are our favorite calls.

Two weeks of real summer left. Then it's football and fire pits. ๐Ÿ‚

Here's the thing homeowners always get wrong about timing: the best time to build a deck isn't spring. Everybody calls in spring. It's now.

Book a fall build and you get:
โœ… Crews that aren't stacked six deep
โœ… A finished space ready for next Memorial Day, not next August
โœ… Cooler working conditions, which is better for the crew and the schedule

The people enjoying decks next June are calling us this month.

Open deck on one side, screened porch on the other. โ˜€๏ธ

That's the move on a lot of New England homes: don't choose. Build both and let the weather decide where you sit.

Fresh composite decking, new rail, and a layout that connects the two so it reads as one outdoor space instead of two add-ons.

August you'll be out on the open boards. September you'll be behind the screens. Both get used.

Free estimates 7 days a week. The fall build schedule is filling.

The best kitchen upgrade nobody budgets for: the window over the sink. ๐ŸŒฟ

Everybody plans the cabinets and the countertops. Almost nobody plans the light.

Where the natural light lands decides how the whole room feels at 7am and again at 6pm. It's worth thinking about before the layout gets locked โ€” moving a window during framing is a conversation. Moving one after tile is a project.

Three things worth deciding early:
โœ… Where the light comes in
โœ… Where you'll actually stand to prep
โœ… Where the trash and dishwasher go relative to the sink

Get those three right and the rest is finish selection.
