Not a food critic… just someone who thinks every vacation should come with a local menu, and I hope you do too.

Second trip to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and roasted goat meat with plantains reminded me of home and why I love traveling. There's something about experiencing a place through its food that just sticks with you.
I may forget the hotel room number, but I'll remember what I ate. ❤️

Sometimes I put a little too much love into the presentation. I wanted this creamy lobster spicy pasta dish, with coconut milk come to life on the plate.

It’s my version of Rasta pasta made with coconut milk. Full recipe is in my cookbook: coconut milk, pasta, turmeric, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt,parsley, jerk sauce. Lightly saute lobster, toss on creamy ssuce, add pasta abd stir. Use tongs to plate.
