I wanted to share this beautiful photo in memory of a beautiful person. I received very sad news today that my wonderful friend, Anita, passed away last week from Covid. Anita was my go to person for wallpaper purchasing and I could never make a measurement decision without consulting her. She had a previous business on her own and had since started to spearhead the wallpaper sales through a Sherwin Williams paint store. I saw countless designers purchase from her and she was always up beat and kind. She would direct me to the right book whenever I entered and shared with her my vision for my client. She was as close to a coworker that I have ever had since starting my design business. I will always carry her words with me when she told me how she liked my style with adjusting the wallpaper designs based my my client’s taste. It was the best compliment I could receive coming from someone like her who knows the business. I only hope she is smiling down on me now with her sister at her side who passed from Covid last year. RIP Anita. You will forever be my wallpaper inspiration.

Two shades of blue, one great design!

It’s always great to start with a statement paper and then choose a coordinating wallpaper, even better if there are multiple textures. I think either accent paper would coordinate, but open for opinions!

It’s been a while since I have posted! 2021 has started out as a hectic year in all good ways. Business is growing and kids milestones are happening. I’m trying to make a commitment to getting more active again on IG. For now, I’m just sharing a photo of my favorite tree/plant, the Bougainvillea. This photo was taken over spring break in my dear friend’s Amy’s neighborhood. .

Merry Christmas to all! This is the first year in many that I am not hosting Christmas dinner (but still made a killer turkey) and I am a happy guest at my sister and brother in law’s new home. I’m so proud of her first table scape and beautiful touches. Family is everything!

Just a little glimpse of my tree and one of my favorite ornaments. I finally got the live tree up late last week which was later in the month than I am used to. Not sure how everyone else feels but this holiday season has quickly crept up on me yet still feels like I am walking in quicksand. I’m already stressed about taking the tree down since it feels like it just went up!!

Loving my new counter stools. In a previous post, I had mentioned how much I was debating on what style I wanted for counter stools in my new kitchen. I didn’t want something too fancy or too plain. I found these great stools on (after missing out on a couple others because they sold out before I could ordered them). Once I decided on these stools, I was able to find this perfect fabric at a local fabric store that is closing. So now with a little more effort, the counter stools are complete. I am very pleased with them and especially because they are unique.

Happy Friday! I can’t get enough of how bright and inviting this dining room is. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a family meal here this weekend! Best part is the option to have a night cap on the water just steps from this table. 🏝

Only thing missing in this photo is a roaring fire. However, being that we live in South Florida, we are more likely to enjoy the beauty of the fireplace year round more than the warmth.

Before and after photo of a client’s bathroom. The vanity and beautiful sink stayed and the wallpaper pulls the green from the sink. Brighter mirror and wall sconces completely change the look!

If I had a dollar for every time someone says, ‘I didn’t know wallpaper is back in style’, I would be rich! Wallpaper has never really gone away. Today’s wallpaper is different than back in the day because it comes in so many colors and pattern varieties, application and removal is easier than ever before, and most importantly, wallpaper has many different price points.
For this project, I assisted my client with choosing a very neutral wallpaper for both sides of the fireplace. Not to mention, her home had just gone through an amazing renovation that her talented husband and husband’s company .contracting completely changed from what the house used to look like (cue room addition and fireplace and coffered ceilings). The wallpaper was just the simple added touch that elevated the room to the next level.

I decided to try something new today and I have to say I liked it! Thanks to Kristina .fyp for the suggestion! Between designing a laundry room and butler’s pantry and custom window treatments today, it gave me just enough of a wake up that I needed. This particular flavor was delicious!

Client home photo shoot ✅. I am excited to share some of the photos of this beautiful home. The client moved here a little over a year ago and wanted to completely change the space to reflect her bright and sunny personality. I just helped her accomplish this and .fyp helped me capture it!
