We are excited to announce the 3rd annual….
Earthwood Spoon Carving & Crafting Gathering:
September 25, 26, 27th 2026
Earthwood, 366 Murtagh Hill Road, West Chazy NY
Stay:
On site-Come for the long weekend or just for the day.
There’s plenty of room for tent camping.
Limited accommodations in the Cordwood Village. Composting toilets available.
Hotels and restaurants are 15 min away in Plattsburgh.
Cooking- bring your own food to cook and or share. There’s a small “mess hall” with a table and propane stove. Water and tubs for dishes will be provided. (Lots of good water available from the hand-pump well)
We will have a Potluck supper Friday night from 5-7. Bring a dish to share.
Activities:
Carving- Bring your own tools; We have wood if you need it, but feel free to bring some to share.
Crafting- Bring craft projects and supplies to share! Basket weaving, dyeing, knitting, printing etc. There will be no formal classes, but if you have something to share, please consider it.
Bring goods to sell or trade. We will have a small maker’s space where you can set up your things.
Walk the trails in the woods, and down to the stream.
Campfires at in the Cordwood Village and the mystical Stone Circle.
Wood-fired sauna.
Foliage should be in peak colors!
Music- bring instruments if you play them.
