We want to extend our sincerest gratitude for how much you all showed up and supported the market this year 🥹🥹🥹 It means the absolute world to us!

We are passionate about what we do, and we love getting to grow flowers - it's also a hard, physically demanding job that can take a lot out of us. But getting to come week after week and seeing your enthusiasm for what we've grown? Getting to see the wildly beautiful creations you make with our blooms? Getting to build all these friendships with you over the years of your support? You guys - YOU MAKE IT ALL WORTH IT!! Your passion feeds our passion. Your creativity nurtures ours. You push us each year to grow more and grow better, and we sure love this beautiful floral community we have ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for all of it, and we'll see you again next year!!

Unbelievably, not a single one of our growers has had a frost yet, which means...there will be an ABUNDANCE of gorgeous local blooms at our final two markets!

We heard several florists commenting last market on their surprise at how full the floor still was, and these next two markets should be the same! Come take advantage and get your hands on local flowers while you still can 🙂

Only two more markets left in the season! And in case you missed today's market, we still have HUGE amounts of flowers available (with no frost in sight!).

Markets are Wednesdays at Grove Station in Pleasant Grove. Florists have the floor from 9-11 a.m., and anyone is welcome to come shop during our retail hour from 11 to noon!

It's true! Searing the edges of your dahlia stems with an open flame or putting them in an inch or two of boiling water (keep the blooms out of the steam!) will extend their vase life by a solid day or two!

What other tricks have you found help extend the life of your dahlias?

You might have noticed we've had a new crop up for grabs this year:

Echibeckia!

This new hybrid flower is a cross between echinacea and rudbeckia, and we have been loving its unique color palettes and large ruffled blooms!

Some important things to know:

As far as vase life and durability, it tends to hold up more like rudbeckia than echinacea. This means it can sometimes get its stems easily clogged (as rudbeckia is considered a 'dirty' flower since it tends to muddy up water over time), so it's best if a bit of beach or a chlorine tablet is used in the water.

It also does not hold up well out of water at all, so it's not recommended for things that will be out of water for any length of time. It also isn't as tough in the extreme heat as echinacea is.

However!

For a regular indoor arrangement in a regular vessel with clean water, this new addition is STUNNING 😍 It adds both texture and acts as a color bridge, as most varieties tend to have multiple hues.

We know it's a bit early to be thinking of fall, but we already can't wait to see how this is used in autumn arrangements!! It totally screams chic, textural, moody fall vibes for sure 👌

After last week's record breaking market, this week looks to be hot on its heels! Expect TONS of options throughout the month (including for that last retail hour!), and plenty of foot traffic. Don't forget to bring your buckets, your undying passion for all things flora, and all your best ideas for creating floral magic (because with this kind of selection available, the sky is the limit!).

Wow, you guys 🥹🥹🥹

When we started the market from very humble beginnings all those years ago, we never could have dreamed it would become the amazing thing we witnessed today.

This morning's market smashed all previous markets in every way, and we are blown away by what your support has allowed us to become.
