Check out my most recent board, a lovely piece of aromatic cedar.

The board was planed down, cut out with my jig saw, and sanded all the up to 320 grit sandpaper, giving it this ultra smooth finish.

After that, all that was left was to oil the board, which popped the colors out and helped display the beautiful grain pattern.

Here's a few pictures from a beautiful black cherry board I just finished working on. This massive board measures in at just over 37 inches long! I absolutely loved watching this piece come from being a rough cut board and helping to show its finished beauty.

It has been quite some time since I've made a post on this page, but I'd like to formally say that SyronWorks is coming back! Keep on the look out for plenty of projects to come and new links to my Etsy Shop.

I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has kept asking when I'll be back to woodworking. It is always a blessing to hear that people appreciate the effort I put into my projects and the quality of the final product.

This was definitely a fun little build. I was approached with a cool idea for a welcome sign with a spot for a hanging flower basket. I’ll admit I didn’t do the painting on it, but I think it turned out great!

Hi everyone! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, but I’m finally getting the workshop opened up again! Been working on a few projects and I’ve got something ready just in time to be late for spring.

Take a look at our 6ft cedar fan trellises. All of the pieces are made from 1 1/2” x 3/4” cedar and assembled with fasteners that will stand the outdoor elements.

Here’s a new board made with red oak. I love the contrast of the black handles against the mid-tone hue of the board, Plus the grain on this board is just beautiful!

The perfect centerpiece on your coffee table or kitchen table, or a nice serving board.

This one is 20” long and 11” wide at its widest.
