How to clean your screens:

1. Safely remove your screens and take them outdoors
💪Pro tip: Now is a great time to label your screens with a sharpie 🖊

2. Gently rinse your screens to remove surface dirt
💪Pro tip: Be gentle with screens – they can be delicate and tear
💪Pro tip: It will get dusty – wear a mask 😷

3. Dip your scrubber/soft bristle brush in your cleaning solution
💪Pro tip: our favorite recipe is two tablespoons dish soap with a gallon of water with a splash of vinegar 🧼

4. Gently scrub the screen and rinse rinse rinse
💪Pro tip: Repeat on both sides

5. Dry
💪Pro tip: You can let air dry – or gently dry with a lint-free towel

6. Reinstall screen

7. No small humans or furry creatures near windows. Because. Now you can see out your windows.

Each week we’ll highlight the stories of local women-owned businesses. The feature supports two goals:

❤️ Supporting women-owned business matters. Invest in women's economic empowerment and growth of the economy. Lift each other up and support our community.
❤️ Serves our mission. The Empower Washers gals host the interviews. The action develops the team's communication skills - and serves as informational interviews/mentor sessions (win-win).

💃💃 Meet our first feature, the one and only Amy Seeman --> To Wit, To Woo. Amy is a fashion stylist on a mission to empower women to authentically dress for their best selves.

✨Best piece of advice?
If something no longer serves you, makes you question your worth, or challenges your morals, it’s time to walk away from that relationship whether it’s a friendship, significant other or employer.

✨What have you learned from your “failures?”
There was something even better waiting on the other side.

✨How do you build your confidence?
My daily mantra is “their goals are not my goals.” That has helped me tremendously from falling down the black hole of comparison. It has allowed me instead to look to the girl to the left – and the girl to the right and genuinely congratulate them on accomplishing THEIR goals! I stay focused on where I’m uniquely qualified to make a difference and what I want to achieve at the end of this one-great-life we get to live.
