My favorite type of project. The Key Largo 84" sofa in Seaglass from my Elegant Cottage furniture line and 2 reupholstered wingback chairs anchor the muted tones of a modern farmhouse style living room. My furniture line features the highest quality construction in the industry and fabric from my large library of performance fabrics. Every piece is truly custom. Chairs from my customers previous home fit in nicely upholstered with new fabric in tones of sage, blue and cream. Soon this lovely Redbrook home will have new barstools and dining chairs to complete the comfortable vibe they want.

Some details are noticed immediately.

Others are simply felt.

Pattern matching is one of those details.

Every piece of fabric is carefully planned before cutting so the design flows naturally from one section of the chair to the next. It takes more fabric, more time, and a lot more precision—but it's part of the standard in our workroom.

This wing chair is a great example of why thoughtful craftsmanship makes such a difference in the finished piece. Slipcovered in Botanical Bloom Cinnamon by . New high density urethane seat foam for years of comfort.

Transformation is hard. But oh so worth it! This consignment store find had all the right stuff...quality brand Pennsylvania House...very little wear and tear and a very low price. But it had one big flaw. Sitting in it was like trying to sit on a trampoline! It was more like sinking than sitting. And getting up? Not so gracefully. We fixed all that. Now you say "Ahhh" instead of "Help" when you sit! Removing the skirt transformed the dated look into a clean, tailored, and more refined style. The neutral performance fabric by guarantees many years of stain resistance and durability. A sectional of this quality costs $14,000 to $18,000 in a store. Reupholstering a thrift store find with good bones? Thousands less. Many thousands less. Go thrifting this weekend. Visit Plymouth Upholstery to select your perfect fabric. Sit in comfort for years and show your friends just how savvy you are!

One sofa. Two fabrics. Two very different settings.
The Warren Sofa from my Elegant Cottage furniture collection, shown first in a contemporary room and expertly upholstered in Sureness Azure. At 86" wide, it is made in Hickory, North Carolina with a hardwood frame, 8-way hand-tied coil springs, and spring-wrapped foam cushions—hallmarks of furniture built for comfort, integrity, and long-term living.
Swipe to see the same Warren Sofa reimagined for a coastal cottage, upholstered in Stroheim Cathay Trellis Bluebell. Same frame. Same craftsmanship. A completely different mood shaped by fabric and setting.
You’ve created an exceptional home.
It deserves quality furniture—designed by you.
