The Story Behind BOP Workshop
The BOP Workshop name:
B.O.P are the first letters in our children's names. Brooke, Olivia and Parker. We absolutely love when our kids draw, color, paint and do anything related to arts and crafts. Creating a creative company that inspires creativity and promotes arts and crafts is something that we are very passionate about. Our name reflects our beautiful children and the creativity they posses. So having them be a part of our company and them helping us build our products and inspire creativity is something we are very proud and excited about.
How BOP Workshop Started:
During the winter of 2017 my wife and I were watching our favorite show, Fixer Upper. One of the episodes showcased a metal HOME Sign and she said, "That is so cute, we should get one for our kitchen". So me wanting to please my beautiful wife started to think, "How can I get this HOME sign for her"? Not knowing much about metal, I resorted to how I could make this sign out of wood. I crafted her the very first HOME sign using left over wood from our shed and old, simple woodworking tools and we hung the sign in our kitchen. When friends and family would visit they loved it and had to have one. I started to make our friends and family signs and everyone told me I should sell them.
