The forecast says cloudy with a chance of lace yarn at the shop today, watch out for silk storms and isolated flying alpacas.

This is Fiberspates Cumulus, the new lace yarn knotty Twist will be carrying. Instead of mohair this yarn uses alpaca blended with silk to get that wonderful fluffy look so many of you like!

While I still have them in stock all Berroco yarn lines, including Aerial, are 10% off.

The wait is over, Knotty Twist Yarn has arrived. LaVonne and her team at The Wool Mill are very good at what they do

THE YARNS!

North Fork is 50% Dorset and 50% Gotland wool, there are 300 yards in every 100 g skein. There’s lots of woolly character in this one, great for outerwear and even sweaters for the less sensitive skinned of us.

Mourning Dove is 70% Targhee X Rambouillet sourced from the happy flock of Ranching Tradition Fiber and 30% Gotland. There are 250 yards per 100 g. It’s soft and springy, and because of how airy it is, I recommend working it at a worsted gauge rather than DK.

Knotty Twist is getting custom yarn!
There will be two yarns, a Dorset Gotland blend an and a Targhee X Rambouillet Gotland blend. I have been working with LaVonne and Ranching Tradition Fiber on this since February. It’s so exciting! I underestimated exactly how excited I would be.
