It’s all in the angles.

Steep gables, clean horizontal lines, and balconies tucked into the roofline give this home its rhythm. Each balcony takes a different shape, responding to the surrounding architecture while adding depth and dimension to the exterior.

The main entrance makes a first impression. But the side entrance? That’s where everyday life happens.

Step inside to a mudroom with space to drop your bags and settle in, plus an elevator that makes moving through the home a little easier. Thoughtful design should feel just as good on a regular Tuesday as it does when guests arrive.

There’s something timeless about a white staircase with classic millwork and warm wood tones.

Stairs do more than get you from one floor to the next, they connect the heart of the home. From busy mornings to quiet evenings, they’re part of the everyday rhythm, linking private retreats with shared spaces.

We love how the foyer flows seamlessly into the parlor. While we can take credit for the architectural design, all of the beautiful interiors and design selections were thoughtfully curated by the homeowner, 🙌🏼

Ever thought about living in a fairytale? Meet the turret.

A turret is a small tower-like structure that projects from the corner or side of a building, often circular in shape. Originally used in medieval castles for defense and lookout points, turrets are now a fun way to bring character into a home. They can create unique interior spaces, dramatic rooflines, and a bit of old-world charm.

House tours are our favorite 🏡

Checking out this new custom home in Spring Lake by Dreyer Custom Homes, now in the final stages of construction. And those lake views right across the street 🤌

The right cedar can completely change the feel of a home. One leans warmer and more traditional, while the other feels lighter and more coastal.

Swipe through to compare the two, then tell us which one you’d choose for your home in the comments!

One of our favorite architectural details: the cupola.

Originally used on barns, churches and classical buildings, cupolas were designed to bring in light and ventilation. Today, they’re just as loved for the character they add to a home.

Functional or decorative, a cupola gives the roofline something special while still feeling timeless. It’s a small detail that can completely change the look of a home.
