Meet the reason I’m no longer a workaholic — Marcie Irene Reese 🎀🩰🌸

We had our daughter in August, and I’ve been off and on maternity leave this fall/winter. I realize I’ve never shared her on this page, and I thought our Christmas photos from minis were the perfect way to introduce Marcie to the 34 + Vine fam!

I was so happy to make this fresh garland for Chelsea’s shoots in Poland this past weekend, and to have our little family’s taken… Especially since Chelsea shot our wedding — and my first work with flowers — 5 years ago (swipe to see!) Such a full circle moment.

Back in spring when I thought I was bumpin’ 💭

An update (because it’s not just business… it’s personal!)

Over the next few weeks, I am planning on getting as many estimates completed- and as much info out to my 2024 brides as possible!

I’m taking a full maternity leave starting in August, and will not be doing future bookings, responding to inquiries, or working any events during that time! (With the exception of my fall 2023 brides 😊)

With that being said, I have limited availability left for 2024 weddings, BUT the good news is: I won’t book up while I am out! Please feel free to reach out, but know that I will likely not respond until I return in October.

This has been THE MOST challenging year for me, having to limit myself. Physically, mentally — it’s all pretty much sucked. I’ve had (usually multiple at once!) jobs since I was 15, and I place so much of my value in hard work; Not being able to do so has really put me down on myself (+ the social media comparison game is real!), but I am trying to remember that there is going to be a lot of time to work in the future and only a short amount of time to take care of a newborn.
