A small update on how I’m working these days 🌱

Over the past year, my work has been refining itself.

What I’ve learned is that my gifts are best used at beginnings, thresholds, and moments of realignment — not in long-term maintenance or ongoing operations.

So I’m simplifying how I offer my intuitive business support through Sanctuary Services.

I’m now focusing on short, clearly defined engagements that help people, projects, and land move from confusion to clarity — and then stand on their own.

Here’s what that looks like:

✨ Foundational Reset / Phase Zero
For projects, properties, or organizations that feel stuck or misaligned. I step in briefly to assess what’s actually happening, name what needs to shift, and outline clear next steps.

✨ Initiation & Hand-Off
Short-term stewardship to help set conditions, systems, and boundaries — with a clean exit. My role is to help things stabilize and become self-sustaining, not dependent.

✨ Threshold Consults
One-time sessions for people standing at a crossroads who want honest, grounded clarity before moving forward.

✨ Land & Space Coherence Assessments
Support for those discerning land, property, or space — whether to proceed, pause, or walk away — with practical and intuitive insight.

✨ Clean Exit / Closure Support
For ending a project or chapter well, without chaos or residue.

What I’m no longer offering is ongoing support, open-ended roles, or work that requires constant tending. This shift allows me to show up fully, clearly, and with integrity — and it creates cleaner outcomes for everyone involved.

When I started Sanctuary Services, the practical, revenue-generating arm of Sanctuary Trust, I held one very clear intention:
to work with a handful of truly aligned clients—people and businesses I could support deeply, intuitively, and consistently, like a modern-day Girl Friday bringing order, clarity, and calm to their world.

So when Paikka invited me in to help refine their backend systems and back-of-house operations, I was genuinely thrilled.

And getting to know Jessica and her family has only confirmed how deeply aligned we are. 🌿 SANCTUARY TRUST — HELP US DIVERT USABLE LUMBER TO SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY & OUR HEALING PROJECTS

In Valley County, a huge amount of usable lumber ends up in the landfill simply because it’s mixed in with general construction debris. At the transfer station, mixed construction waste is $150 per ton — and heavy, wet wood makes loads expensive fast.

But clean lumber doesn’t need to be thrown away, and separating it out has real benefits for the community and the land we share.

Here’s how simple diversion can make a difference:

🔥 Firewood for Local Families
Stacking clean wood so low-income households can pick it up for firewood supports our neighbors through long Idaho winters. A small act can mean someone stays warm.

🌿 Donations to Sanctuary Trust & Local Charities
Sanctuary Trust builds spaces in nature for people to heal, and repurposed lumber is incredibly valuable for walkways, accessibility features, benches, platforms, and community projects.
We also work with local missions and nonprofits who can use the material for shelters, repairs, and service programs.

🔥 Safe Burn Piles Instead of Landfill Waste
If the wood isn’t reusable, clean lumber can still be responsibly burned (within local regulations), keeping unnecessary tons of waste out of the landfill.

💰 A Financial Benefit for Builders & Homeowners
By simply separating clean lumber from mixed debris, you avoid the $150-per-ton disposal cost, reduce dump trips, and dramatically cut project waste fees. Clean wood is charged at a much lower rate — and sometimes costs nothing if you donate it.

With deep gratitude, I’m honored to share that I had the privilege of stepping onsite for an extraordinary project recently featured in The Local Project — “Overlook by Altruist.”

This project beautifully parallels the vision I hold for Sanctuary — for high-end, artful, deeply sustainable spaces that honour nature, material integrity and the human spirit. From the very first walk-through, the owner’s extraordinary attention to detail, his reverence for craft, and his quiet but resolute commitment to excellence resonated with me.

In this role I was called on to serve: to keep the space pristine, protected, and primed for the magic of design and build to unfold. Having been the designer, developer and builder myself, I deeply understand what a client like this needs — not just responsiveness, but anticipation; not just ex*****on, but stewardship. I know the rhythm of a site, the rhythm of hands on materials, and the rhythm of vision becoming form.

To the owner: thank you for trusting me to be part of this journey. Your meticulous eye, your care for the architecture, for the land, for the people who make it real — it’s inspiring every day.

To future clients who share this kind of spirit: I am ready.
