Ooo la la; Vintage Faithful Reproduction of an Antique French Boulangerie Basket:

This very well taken care of vintage reproduction French Boulangerie Basket was probably made in the late 80s. The weave is in excellent shape aside from a few minor knicks but nothing is loose or dangling. The turned fruit wood handles and slats definitely add authenticity to the piece. If this were an actual antique and it was in just as good of shape, you’d be looking at hundreds of dollars. That’s a lot of French Bread. I’m asking a fraction of that at just $79.

Great for staging, photo shoots, decor, or as an everyday utilitarian basket. These aren’t easy to come by - especially in the Los Angeles County area -so it’s a pretty great find if I do say so myself. Which obviously, I just did. 🤣

Measures 24” from handle to handle x 16” W x 9.5.”

No holds without a partial, non refundable deposit. Without the deposit it’s basically first come, first served. No shipping or deliveries, trades, exchanges, or returns. Which came first? Funky Vintage 1970s Signed HORD Stoneware Hatching Chicken Bank:

Made in 1970, this funky chicken emerging from an egg still doesn’t really answer the question of which came first but it will answer the question of what to do with your spare change. Even though you may not want to do that since there is no stopper and you’ll have to smash the art to get to the money.

It’s about 8” H x 23” Around. There are no chips, breaks, or cracks - except the ones intentionally made. In other words, it’s in eggscellent condition.

Asking $25. Perfect for ornithologist in your life or someone who loves 70s kitsch. No holds without a partial, non refundable deposit that’s good for ten days. No shipping or deliveries, trades, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.

We keep our selection eclectic and varied. Life is too short to be mundane.

Big Vintage 1970s Avocado Green Woven Bamboo Bowl:

This beautiful vintage woven bamboo bowl is big. 17.5” in Diameter x 8” D/H big. It is in beautiful shape for being on the edge of turning 50.

The 70s turned to nature for a lot of their inspiration and the woven bamboo that this bowl is made of definitely sets this bowl apart from anything you may currently own. It’s also done in that great Avocado Green that everything seemed to be colored in back then and surprisingly enough, that color is making a giant comeback with people who weren’t even born in this span of time.

The bowl has been treated so you can definitely use it for a salad bowl just make sure you hand wash it and dry it immediately so the wood doesn’t become brittle and dry.

Asking $20 for this bowl. If I was selling it in my vintage booth or at a flea market, I’d definitely ask at least $60 because even at that price, it’s very fair for something this unique and in this good of shape.

No holds without a full or partial, non refundable payment. The hold is good for ten days or if paid in full, I will hold your item for up to a month. I do not offer shipping or delivery services. No trades, exchanges, or refunds. All vintage items do have a certain amount of wear and tear and I do my very best to mention them beforehand so you can make an informed decision.

Buying vintage isn’t just a hip trend, it’s a great way to boost your style while keeping these lovely, unique treasures in circulation.

Attention Pomona History Buffs; Antique Early 1900s Pomona College Yearbooks (the Metate):

The Metate was the official yearbook of Pomona College, published annually from 1895 until its discontinuation in 2012. Originally called Speculum, the junior class of 1895 chose the name Metate—a Native American word for a grinding stone—to symbolize their effort to "grind up" the year's events into a mentally digestible format.

This collection of leather bound Pomona College Yearbooks are quite interesting. Although I am in possession of seven books there are two volumes (the 1911 and the 1917) that are repeated. Pomona has a very rich history and even though it has gotten a bad rap, it has worked very hard to improve its reputation. As a Pomona resident, I love my city.

All of these people in these books are no longer with us but their legacies live on in these yearbooks. Though you may not know these people personally, it is really of no importance. They were people. They lived. And just because of that, they deserve our validation.

The books are not in the best of shape but they are all over 100 years of age. Online, the Mecate Yearbooks that are even younger are being offered at about $70-$100 each. This set of seven is $90. I’m not selling them from greed as much as I am interested in finding that right person who cherishes Pomona History.

One tall order; Vintage Fenix Raku Pottery “Patchwork” Ceramic Giraffe:

Probably made in the late 80s by the South African Fenix Pottery Company, this 9” H Raku Pottery Giraffe is absolutely stunning with its various colored “patches” up against a cream colored background . Supposedly it is signed but I have yet to find the signature .

Raku pottery is an ancient Japanese ceramic technique characterized by rapid firing, thermal shock, and a highly unpredictable, smoky finish. The process involves pulling pottery from a glowing hot kiln and immediately plunging it into a container of flammable materials, which results in unique metallic lusters and cracked patterns.

The Fenix Pottery Company specializes in making wild African animals and although this is not the rarest of finds, they aren’t exactly all over the place so if you’re a Raku Pottery collector and you collect wild animal figurines, this is like a win-win.

Asking a very reasonable $30. I could ask more but why? I don’t artificially inflate my prices to begin with which is why I rarely come down off my asking prices. That’s probably frustrating to some resellers but that’s just how it is.

No holds without a partial, non refundable deposit that’s good for ten days. I do not ship, deliver, make trades, honor exchanges, or have a return policy. Once it’s yours, it’s yours.

Blast from the past; Two Vintage Empty Bottles From a Bygone Time:

Maybe I’m just a geek but I really love old advertising that I remember as a kid. These two bottles are from the 60s. It totally blows me away how everything back then was in glass. From mustard to soda to vitamins, everything was in a heavy glass container. I mean, the glass they used for this is pretty heavy duty. If you look at it closely, it has waves in it which means it was blown by hand. One of them has a glass stopper. The other one has a very well made plastic stopper.

This was obviously way before childproof packaging. The larger of the two is 5” H and the other one is 3.5” H. Both have the labels in tact.

I was very surprised that some people are asking quite a bit for these. I am asking a very reasonable $25 for the pair. These could be reused for whatever need you might have them for.

Please read one of my other ads on all the specifics on how to make this yours. Basically I don’t hold, ship, deliver, make trade or exchanges, or have a return policy.

Honest to Odd; Vintage Giclee Print on Cavas of Fernando Botero’s, Girl with a Puppet:

Botero was a Colombian artist and sculptor who endowed his art with a sense of humor and mirth. This wonderful giclee reproduction print of the original oil painting is called, Girl with a Puppet.

Some thought his paintings of what he called “large people” were insulting when in fact, Botero was celebrating the human form. This particular painting makes me smile. She looks like she’s up to something and only the puppet knows what it actually is.

Measures 11” x 16.” The print is nailed onto canvas for a more authentic look. Probably done in the late 80s when his work was reaching new audiences.

Asking $45.

Cheers! Vintage Late 50s Color Craft Spaghetti String Tumblers:

If you follow me and you can’t already tell, I’m a big fan of the Midcentury. I love the incredible boldness that the Midcentury had. These spaghetti string glasses are definitely cool. Who made the initial sales pitch for these? “Okay, it’s tumbler but it looks like it lost a fight with Silly String!”

These were put out by a company called Color Craft and they did a whole line of items based on this crazy silly design; plates, bowls, drink pitchers, and even swag lamps!

But alas…all I have are these but these are enough to start you on your own vintage odyssey. I have four; two in blue and two in gold. Definitely summer colors.

They are about 5.5” H with a 2.75” in Diameter opening at the top. Look at these online and you’ll see that these are typically selling between $45-60 for a set of four. I’m selling these for $25. That’s even cheaper than a thrift store.

No holds without a partial, non refundable deposit that’s good for ten days. No shipping, deliveries , trades, exchanges, or refunds.

If you ❤️ vintage and I know you do, it would behoove you to follow me.

Don’t mean to burst your bubble; Art Nouveau (?) Bubble Glass with Metal Cage Surround Candle Lamp:

I’ll be completely honest with you but I do not know what this really is. The overall look of it makes me think that this is from the Art Nouveau period either that, or it’s a very clever reproduction. It hung by chains and one of them snapped off. There is a very fine crack but it’s not that noticeable. There are hard water stains on the glass but they might be able to be cleaned off with CLR or Lime Away. This is definitely worth rehabbing and if it is genuine Art Nouveau you’re getting this at a great deal at $60.

It’s about 11” L with a 8” in Diameter opening at the top. Probably about 34” Around. Pictures really don’t do this justice. It really is gorgeous and if you took the time to put on some new chain and cleaned the glass up more, it would look stunning.

No holds, shipping, deliveries, trades, exchanges, or returns. If you love one of a kind vintage, follow us for more.
