Today we celebrate 18 years in business!

What started with two people, a truck, a dream, and a lot of faith has grown into something bigger than we could have ever imagined.

Over the last 18 years, we've installed floors, renovated bathrooms, opened and outgrown multiple locations, expanded our services, weathered economic ups and downs, and built a company we are proud to call our own.

But the truth is...

This story isn't just about flooring.

It's about people.

To our incredible team—past and present—thank you for believing in us, growing with us, and helping us build this company one project at a time.

To our family, thank you for the sacrifices, support, encouragement, and love that carried us through the difficult times and celebrated the victories with us.

To our builder partners, contractors, vendors, and work partners, thank you for trusting us, opening doors for us, and allowing us to be part of your projects and your success stories.

❤️ REAL TALK STORY TIME ❤️

Most people see the showroom, the trucks, and the finished projects.

What they don't see are the years of closed doors, sacrifices, uncertainty, and prayers that came before them.

When we opened our retail showroom, we were the new company trying to earn a seat at the table. Many vendor accounts were difficult to open, pricing wasn't always competitive, and opportunities were limited.

But we kept showing up.

We believed that if we worked hard, treated people right, and delivered quality work, the right people would eventually notice.

And they did.

One special friend in the builder industry asked Julio why we still didn't have certain vendor accounts. After hearing the story, he simply said:

*"Don't worry. I'm going to make a phone call."*

The very next day, some of the biggest names in the flooring industry were walking through our doors.

Those vendors brought resources, partnerships, branding, and opportunity.

We brought determination, perseverance, reliability, and an unwillingness to quit.

Different strengths. Shared values. One goal.

Looking back, we're reminded that success is built on relationships, trust, and people willing to believe in one another.

To every friend, partner, vendor, client, employee, and supporter who has been part of our journey...

❤️ REAL TALK STORY TIME ❤️

🏡 The Neighbors With the Patience of a Giant

We moved into our neighborhood in 2011. Back then, Specialty Flooring Inc. was operating right out of our home. Our office was in the house, our warehouse was the garage, and every morning our driveway was full of team vehicles heading out to work.

Our "box truck" wasn't even a real box truck. 😂 It was a loud diesel Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed that Julio converted using house paneling because that's what we could afford at the time.

One day, our neighbor Rob jokingly told us:

🗣️ "You know that you guys are my alarm clock. I know I've overslept and will be late to work if I'm still in bed when you turn that truck on!"

We still laugh about that today. 🚚😂

But years later, Rob told us something we'll never forget. He said that Julio and Heydie are the true definition of the American Dream.

Coming to this country, paying our dues, working hard, investing in ourselves, our team, our community, and building a reputable company with honesty and integrity has never been easy. Rob and his family had a front-row seat to the entire journey.

They saw the struggles, sacrifices, setbacks, and victories. They saw us at our worst and continued rooting for us anyway.

The Chambers family started as neighbors and became family. Our sons have been best friends since they were 2 years old and are now 17. They have supported us, trusted us, and encouraged us every step of the way.

Thank you, Rob and Michelle, for always believing in us. ❤️

Sometimes the greatest success isn't what you build—it's the people who stand beside you while you build it.
