It’s coming along y’all slowly…. But this is the start of the second layer.

I’ve never done sun beams before. While painting this I kept closing my eyes to try to recreate the way the sun danced in and out of the trees. This layer will have a lot of texture

I really love seeing a piece come to life. This one has many more layers to come but I’m really happy with the base.

The inspiration for this painting is from a picture I took on the boat back in 2020. I’ve wanted to paint it since then but to be honest was scared to. It’s been a while since I’ve painted a scenic piece…… like many many years

But here we go and I’m excited to see the finished result
