If you’re new here, welcome! 🤍 And if you’ve been following along for a while, consider this a little reintroduction.

I’m Donna, founder and principal designer of Donna Mancini Interiors & Flooring, and together with my husband and business partner, Mike, we’ve built a business around something we believe wholeheartedly: your home should be beautiful, but it also needs to work beautifully for the way you actually live.

Since 2010, this business has grown and evolved in ways I probably couldn’t have imagined when I started. Today, DMI is a full-service interior design studio and furnishings showroom, and together with our sister company, Design Construction Group, we offer something pretty unique…the ability to take a project from the first idea and space plan through construction, cabinetry, furnishings and the final details that make a house feel like home.

We design kitchens and baths, renovate and build, furnish entire homes, create custom cabinetry, source from hundreds of manufacturers…and yes, we obsess over the details. Probably more than is reasonable. 😉

Our style? Livable luxury. Beautiful spaces that feel elevated and thoughtfully designed, but never so precious that you’re afraid to actually live in them. We believe good design should solve problems, make everyday life easier and, most importantly, feel like you.

A little about me beyond design…

I’m an accountant by education (which may explain my love of budgets and making the numbers work 🙋‍♀️), a longtime Northeast Florida resident, wife, mom to two grown sons, Gigi to two young grandsons, gym enthusiast, avid reader, and someone who is endlessly curious about business, design and what’s coming next.

We’re a small, hands-on team, and relationships matter enormously to us. Our clients trust us with their homes, their investment and often many months of their lives. We don’t take that lightly.

So whether you’re here for design inspiration, following one of our projects, dreaming about a future renovation or simply love seeing beautiful homes come together…I’m glad you found us.

REIGNITE. Another of the design stories from Sherwin-Williams Colormix Forecast for 2027.🎨 This story is all about renewed energy... bringing together expressive color, unexpected combinations, and elements that feel playful, personal, and a little less restrained.

I love the flat lay for this story as well... the mix of color, pattern, and materials feels collected rather than coordinated, and beautifully illustrates another direction we're seeing in design: spaces with more personality.

RECONNECT. One of the design stories from Sherwin-Williams Colormix Forecast for 2027. 🌾 The story is rooted in wellness, pairs earthy neutrals and nature-inspired hues with organic materials, rich textures, and tactile finishes. The result feels grounded and wonderfully authentic.

I especially love the flat lay for this story... the layering of these elements beautifully illustrates where design continues to move: toward spaces that don't just look beautiful, but feel good to live in! A quieter approach to luxury... warm, tactile, connected, and intentional.

Last week, I shared that Sherwin-Williams had unveiled its 2027 Colormix Forecast; REWILD... 48 hues reflecting where color and design are headed next.

Today, we're starting with the 10 Continuity Colors... trusted, versatile hues selected for their ability to endure across styles, spaces, and applications. These are the foundations of the forecast: colors with staying power that can move beautifully through changing trends while still feeling relevant and timeless.

Throughout the week, we'll take a closer look at the three distinct color stories; Reconnect, Reignite, and Revive, and the different ways each brings the 2027 forecast to life.
