We’re proud to welcome Jim McIver to the Flooring Direct team!

Jim is a lifelong resident of Poplar Bluff and a familiar face to many in our community. A graduate of the Class of ’84, Jim went on to serve 8 years in the United States Navy (1984–1992) before returning home to build a career centered on service and relationships.

Jim brings decades of commercial and residential paint and flooring experience, including:

7 years with Gamblin Lumber

12 years as a Store Manager & Sales Representative with Sherwin-Williams

Owner of Premier Paint & Floor Covering for 5 years

His background spans homes, businesses, and large-scale projects, giving customers confidence they’re getting knowledgeable, practical guidance.

Jim has also worked in sales at Baldwin Toyota since 2007, further strengthening his reputation for honesty, consistency, and customer care.

Jim has been married to his wife Cindy since 1987. Cindy is a retired teacher from the Poplar Bluff School District, and they have one daughter, Makala (Class of 2014). Jim is a 36-year member of the PB Elks Lodge and an active member of Fellowship General Baptist Church.

We’re excited to have Jim representing Flooring Direct in both residential and commercial projects throughout the community.
