Happy Monday! Here’s an original I’ve been keeping a secret for a while now. I think I might finally be ready to let this one leave my studio.

I’ve kept it close to my heart because of the symbolism and meaning behind it.

I’ll share more soon, but for now say hello to “Hearts Revival” 💕

It’s a highly textural 11x14” acrylic on canvas- Modeling paste + paint + tears…it’s all there 😂

// Choose Your Spring Aesthetic:

1. Bold & bright with a joyful energy that makes no apologies.
2. Grounded, earthy and reflective with a touch of nostalgia.
3. Hopeful, dreamy and optimistic.

Happy Friday! Which weekend activity sounds best to you:

⛰️ Short day hike to a waterfall with your bestie, or
🍷 Falling in love with a moody painting over a glass of wine?

If you choose the wine, this is your sign to visit and say hi to my newest painting on display 😉.

>> Who else is happy to move on from winter?

The weather here seems to want to hold on to the cold, grey, rainy season a little longer. Personally, I’m ready for more sunlight, warmth and outdoor living - but in the meantime, let me show you this painting I finished.

This original titled “Waking From Winter” was completed during the coldest part of February. The inspiration behind this piece was capturing the “winter seasons” of life- the times of quiet beauty and rest, contrasted by the wild intensity of passing storms that help build resilience.

What’s interesting is that in life it’s not always and either/or. Most times it’s both/and. Life storms can cause us to stop, find shelter and rest. They can be great disruptors of plans, pursuits and even lifestyle.

But they can also build in us an inner resilience, empathy for others, and greater perspective of what’s truly important. Sometimes they create detours that take us places we needed to go and open doors we never would have knocked on.

Whether your winter season has been filled with rest or with storms, I hope you’ll be encouraged that light, hope, and new life is just around the corner ✨

What are you looking forward to this spring? Let’s get excited about a new season!

Happy first day of spring!

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared here, so I thought I’d start with my brightest and boldest painting yet-to celebrate a new season.

I love spring for the constant signs of new life and budding color. It makes me think of how much beauty and potential is hidden, yet in full sight. It’s the timing that unlocks it all and releases new life.

Here’s to enjoying a new season of growth with all the beauty & inspiration that comes with it. ✨

Also, who’s been working in their garden??
I’m going to start this week! 🙈

So nice to have painting time in the studio again after a very long break ✨:
