✨ Calling All Sewing Experts! ✨

I need some help! 😂

I've been trying for the past few days to sew this sequin fabric so I can turn it into some rocker sleeves for a few band T-shirt upcycles.

The problem? These sequins are NOT cooperating! 😩

I've tried sewing them, and I'm getting to the point where the only other solution I can think of is hand-sewing them… and let's just say I REALLY don't want to do that. 😂

There has to be a better way!

So, all my sewing friends, I need your suggestions! 🧵✂️

Have you ever worked with sequin fabric? Is there a trick I'm missing? A particular needle, presser foot, stitch, or technique that makes sewing these a little less painful?

Drop your tips in the comments because I'd REALLY love to get these sleeves finished without having to hand-sew every single sequin! 😂

Yesterday I mentioned that I had three finished upcycled shirts waiting to be photographed…

Well, I finally got them photographed! 😂📸

And today was a VERY productive day because I finished **three new upcycled denim pieces!** 👖✨

First, there was the pair of lace bottoms that did NOT turn out the way I had envisioned. Let's just say… 🤮😂 I couldn't let them go to waste, so I gave them a second chance and turned them into a skirt. And honestly, I'm pretty happy with the save!

Then I transformed two pairs of jeans into bell bottoms.

🌸 The first pair features a quilted look made from scraps leftover from previous upcycled shirts.

🦋 The second pair features beautiful pink gauze fabric with butterflies.

I love when a project doesn't go according to plan but ends up becoming something even better.

And now that I finally have photos of those three shirts, I have even more new pieces to share with you!

To-Do or To Don’t…🤷🏻‍♀️

Some days I look at my to-do list and wonder what I was thinking when I made it. 😂

I may have created a *slightly* impossible list for myself, and lately I've been struggling to keep up with it—and honestly, to stay motivated.

But I'm reminding myself that progress is still progress.

I've finished a few upcycled shirts, including this Elvis Presley one that I'm really happy with. ❤️🎸 I also have three more finished shirts waiting to be photographed, plus a couple of pairs of jeans that... well... I'm just not loving them yet. 😂

And that's okay too.

Not every idea works the first time. Sometimes something needs to sit for a while before I figure out what it needs—or decide it's time to move on to something else.

So today I'm celebrating the finished Elvis shirt instead of worrying about everything that's still on the list.

One project at a time. ❤️

🎸 Two More One-of-a-Kind Creations! 🎸

I finished two more upcycled shirts today, and I’m loving how different they are!

💗💙💚 **Grateful Dead** — with a fun mix of pink, blue, and green.

❤️🤍💙 **ZZ Top** — rocking the classic red, white, and blue.

Both started as thrifted pieces and were transformed into something completely unique. That's my favorite part of upcycling—taking something that already exists and giving it a whole new personality!

And... I actually finished **more today**, but apparently I ran out of daylight before I could photograph everything. 😂📸

So you'll have to wait just a little longer to see the rest!

✨ You Chose It… I Created It! ✨

Remember when I asked you to help choose what I should create next? Well, you voted—and **Dolly Parton was the winner!** ❤️🤍💙

I started with a red, white, and blue **Dolly Parton "Live from Nashville"** t-shirt and transformed it into a one-of-a-kind poncho using a beautiful infinity scarf made from delicate white lace fabric.

I love how two completely different pieces came together to create something fun, feminine, and full of country charm!

But what makes this one even more special is that **YOU helped choose it.** I absolutely love involving you in the creative process and then getting to bring your choice to life.

So now I have to ask…

✨ As if I didn't have enough creative projects already... 😂

I've decided to add one-of-a-kind beaded earrings to my list of creations!

Between crochet, upcycled clothing, and all the ideas constantly swirling around in my head, you would think I'd stop adding new projects... but where's the fun in that?

I love creating pieces that are unique, and these earrings are no exception. Each pair will have its own style and personality, making them the perfect little accessory to complement my handmade and upcycled collections.

I can't wait to share the first designs with you! 💕
