To all of our fantastic customers,
Hello to everyone this post reaches. This is a particularly hard post to write for sure. As most all of you know Hurricane Ian destroyed our showroom and some of our warehouse areas as well. It has been a hard decision but since our building was condemned and has to be torn down within a year we would have to relocate to a different site and build from scratch a new showroom and warehouse. This is not something I wish to do at this point in my life.
There is another showroom opening up in Port Charlotte and they have a store in Punta Gorda currently that is open and operating. The Port Charlotte location is scheduled to open in March 2023 not sure of the exact time frame and their name is, The Local Lighting Shop. It is an interesting story as I was involved with Charlotte’s junior leadership program and Jackie the owner/partner of the Local Lighting Shop was in that program and that is how we met. I hired her away from her waitressing job and she worked and learned from myself the lighting business. She then left to be a lighting representative and then started her own design business which she sold. She then opened The Local Lighting Shop in Punta Gorda since we were in Port Charlotte. This story is to let you know she is a local born resident of Charlotte County attending school here as well.
Last but not least I want to thank all of our customers for the past 33 years in business. We have enjoyed being a part of your lives and helping you with either a remodel, new home or just a single purchase. We thank you for all those years of support……we will cease operations on March 31st.
