How do you pull off a themed bedroom for a child that might be over his love of outer space in a few short years? By adding graphic wallpaper, and a few space-themed elements, we were able to make both a 5 year old boy AND his parents happy. The art and accents are easy to switch out if his interests change. A Sputnik light fixture tops off the whole look!

One of the things focus on at Curated Casa is using what the client already has. This busy living room was a landing spot for toys and shoes, and the family wanted to keep key pieces they had already invested in, while updating the look and making the room a place to relax. Simple additions like grasscloth wallpaper, a coat of paint on their console table, and organization for toys made it possible to keep their existing furniture and update the look.

Sharing a room with a tricky layout does not mean you need to compromise on design! Two sweet sisters got a bedroom that gives each their space, with a cohesive style. Custom painted scalloping and personalized art made this room feel special and unique.

A beautiful transformation for our client’s main bedroom. The family renovated the space but got stuck when it came to decor- the space included an angled ceiling that created a corner they didn’t know what to do with, and their cords and routers were in an awkward place. We added a chair and an open weave basket that could hide all of the cords and still let them “breathe” so nothing overheats. The result is a cozy, inviting space where every part of the room is functional.

A sweet three and a half year old needed to graduate from his nursery- we added gingham peel and stick wallpaper, custom made art with his name, and were able to incorporate stylish storage and play areas. Our first nursery! Our client had a spare bedroom that was painted neon yellow when they moved in, and needed it transformed into a nursery before the arrival of their baby girl in March. We used a neutral, soothing color scheme, custom made a mobile from a beaded chandelier, and turned a thrift store rocking horse into a sweet addition. We were able to keep a bed in the room so that they can host guests as well....

This living room was a “couch-a-palooza” (our client’s words, not ours!) and they just couldn’t get it setup in a way that allowed for the family to hang out and also for them to work from home. We added leather chairs that can easily be wiped clean, a sectional that can fit the whole crew, and a desk that is as functional as it is beautiful. Some coordinating art and accessories, and this family has a living room they can be proud to show off.

A blank slate of a spare bedroom transformed into a welcoming guest room with an office! Our client loved the deep teal paint color for the office nook, so we worked it into custom made Roman shades and pillows as well. Just because a space is small doesn’t mean it can’t have a big impact.

This is the stuff tile dreams are made of! Our client was in the middle of a full demo renovation when we met, and along the course of a year we helped them pick finishes, colors, and fixtures at every stage of their renovation. This coffee bar is the “star” of this show!

Come on in and see this serene bedroom transformation! When our client moved in, the room was painted a rust color, and had built in speakers in the walls- we helped them create a more relaxing and functional space, while solving some of their design delimmas. The speakers were covered with art, and custom valances were built for under $100 to cover the blinds but lend some character and texture.
