I love this!!! Just was watching Nick Wilton talk about his approach in mark making and painting to have an element that is not within his full control - I totally agree!
I approach my work the same- because taking chances and removing control can create beautiful, interesting surprises.
I think it’s the same as the “Happy Little accidents” that Bob Ross would say.

Art on the River 2026- Blue Water Art Association represented.
Hot day but was thankful for a shady tent! And a few gusts of wind! 😀

Met some great people and was fun to see the kids enjoying water color painting with Mike Henry, Barb A., , Theresa Balboa, Jane Weis, Dairoll Medrano.

You can’t beat the Blue Water view!!! 💙
