The weekend is officially here, and this is your high-alert warning that today is the last day of the week we are open until we unlock the doors again on Tuesday! ⏰

❌We are always 100% real with y'all, so here is some honest business heart: the summer slump has officially hit us. 📉 This past week, we had THE lowest amount of sales since the very first day we opened our doors. 💔 I say this to encourage my fellow small business owners and to shed light to our support here at Babycakes.
It can be scary navigating these slower summer months, but we are keeping our faith high! We are praying for the Lord’s favor and supply to carry us through, just like He has so faithfully done for our entire last year of business. We trust our village and we trust His plan! 🙏❤️

Despite the quiet week, the energy in the kitchen is electric because we are SUPER PUMPED about our very first Sourdough Class tomorrow! 🎉👩‍🍳

Our beach cabin, The Surfing Mermaids, had a cancellation and is available for this weekend and we’d love to gift a 2-5 night stay to someone who could use a relaxing getaway. It is 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and beachfront at Crystal Beach (max 12 people). This cabin typically rents for $900 per night in the summer
