THIS SUNDAY 4/28 is our 2nd annual Garden Art Expo from 10am to 4pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Port Townsend! Our event has *tripled* in size over last year. 3x the artists, 3x the buildings, food and beverage vendors, presentations and demonstrations, local business participation, free mini classes, tool & garden item exchanges, free plant exchanges, plant adoptions, story time - even the Rock Club and 4-H Cat building will be open and waiting for you - we have SO much going on for you! There is no charge to get in any of our buildings, so please come on by! We’d love to see you! 🌸

They will be joining our volunteers for the Free Plant Exchange, Tool & Garden Item Exchange, Plant Adoptions, Story Time, and Mini-classes! Hope to see you this weekend! 🌸

Per Dr. Susan Biali, “when we use our hands on a task that doesn’t demand much cognitively, it gives the mind a chance to relax and rest.” She goes on to state that activities such as gardening, crafting, and even cleaning can bring your brain the relief it needs to maintain a healthy mood and fight depression (ie; effort-driven rewards)! So get going on those garden projects! 🌸
