You will have 2 days to fulfill payments, otherwise you will be passed. After the second time of non-payment you will be placed on a waiting list if some
one else passes on an item you wish to purchase. (I don't forsee this as an issue, but we have all been in groups where it does happen unfortunately. No hard feelings, it's just business.) If an item you wish to purchase has been claimed, you can still comment "sold next" with a working email. You will be the purchaser if the first person backs out or doesn't fulfill their payment. You may also request the same item, and I will get to work making it for you, with a very reasonable turn around time! :)

Two amazing kiddos of my own, and two amazing bonus kids, whom aren't really 'kids' anymore. They are our "Bigs", but they have been one of the most incredible additions to my life. The beginning of the year, I was a mother to just one almost teenager, and with having my second jn the beginning of 2020, we joining two families as one. The transition has been quite the fun journey! Quite the adjustment for everyone!! Awkward Bear has been a pressing mind baby of mine for several months. The idea of this page came to me after the beginning of the longest year of our lives thus far, am I right?! Finding myself in a complete new role for my life left me feeling fulfilled beyond my wildest dreams, and yet completely exhausted and not sure of my new beginnings. Like most of you out there, this year has been transitional, to say the least. I took my maternity leave from a wonderful local salon and spa, and never returned. My contract unfortunately expired, and though it was an outstanding experience, it just did not make sense to return to work in the sense of being away from the home with the initial uncertainty of everything, nor now. While being so grateful for my other half being able to provide and encourageing me to stay home during all of this, I am still working from the home, and in the process of building a proper space to work from our home. With these new changes though, I haven't had any real escape and an outlet to destress. So, along the way, I picked up crafting again, along with baking, cooking, new tight and ridged cleaning methods etc. While those others give me satisfaction, crafting gave me my break I was searching for. Alas, Awkward Bear was born. So here we are, my now publicized outlet. As much as I truly love and take pride in the items I've made, I simply have no more room to display, and I don't want to stop what I'm doing. This is where you guys come in! There are so many incredible crafty niches out there, and just like my personality, it doesn't all fit into one area, haha! I am not your cup and tumbler girl, I am not your resin crafts girl, or knitting/crocheting girl (but I do know extremely talented ladies if that's what you're looking for!!). I am however, your whimsical decorative vase, personalized night light, bumper sticker making, canvas painting, sassy (and a bit crass) signs and coffee mug designer, wooden welcome/seasonal signs maker, picture to wood transfer and holiday yard/home accessory girl and more. I will add new things I've tried and am up for any special requests you'd like me to try! If it is beyond my abilities, I will point you in the right direction and connect you with extraordinarily talented folks in the community and across the states!
