I’ve been working on this piece for a long time now. I’ve not been sure how to complete such an important piece.
Let me explain.

My friend’s child was born with an Omphalocele. She’s a miracle baby. They said she would be spending 6 months in the ICU when she was born, but this fighter made it home within 5 weeks. But, not without battle scars.
This warrior and super hero deserved the chance to celebrate those scars that make her unique and beautiful.
