Dating back 2,000+ years, these vessels were found in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, and were once used to hold oils and perfumes. Their silvery, iridescent patina developed over centuries underground as the glass slowly reacted with moisture and minerals in the surrounding soil.
