A memorable week in DC 🇺🇸🏛️
We were blown away by the hospitality and everything the city has to offer.
Started off with a visit to the White House. Amazing to see in person and walking the halls and rooms thinking about all the history and stories that have happened there.
Then off to the Capitol building. Special thanks to Rashid and Beth from the Capitol we had a once in a lifetime experience! From touring the chambers, taking the underground train, hanging out on rep Kevin McCarthy’s office balcony and getting to spend time on the house floor as they were calling in the senators to vote on Sundays shut down. Amazing.
Some senators even took time out of their busy schedule to chat with us.
Then enjoyed the rest of our visit checking out all the incredible museums, getting about 20,000 steps in a day lol and finishing things off with inspirational presentation for the firefighters and Capitol police force. 🚒🚔
An incredible family trip for the books!
