A workplace gym, reimagined. At The Standard Insurance Center, the LRS Team transformed and expanded the building’s fitness facility into an elevated wellness destination, complete with instructor-led yoga and cycling studios, high-end equipment, and a dynamic fitness floor. Dark wood slats tie the space to the tower lobby, bold graphics energize the environment, and tunable lighting adapts throughout the day. A serene Japandi-inspired yoga studio subtly honors Standard’s Japanese parent company, creating a moment of calm within an active hub.

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the meaningful ways our team engaged throughout March. Across both our Portland and Bend offices, staff were invited to contribute to a pledge wall sharing personal commitments to support gender equality and foster a more inclusive workplace. The wall remained up all month, giving everyone time to reflect and add their voice.

Last week, team members in both offices also proudly wore purple in solidarity, creating a powerful visual reminder of our collective support. 💜

As part of our 50th Anniversary, we honored our legacy in a visible and meaningful way—lighting the Morrison Bridge in our celebratory green and white anniversary colors. For 50 years, we have been guided by a simple yet powerful idea: great design brings form and function together to create places that endure, inspire, and connect people. This moment symbolized not only our firm’s journey but also the people, places, and purpose that have shaped our story.

Before the lighting, our team gathered for a happy hour, enjoying time with colleagues before walking to the bridge as a group. Sharing the moment together made the celebration even more meaningful, reinforcing the sense of connection and collaboration at the heart of our work.

As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same: design with purpose, collaborate deeply, and create spaces that strengthen the communities they serve.

Thank you for our Portland team coming together to pack 99 sack lunches for the local community. Each lunch included a PB&J sandwich, an orange, a snack bar, and chips. The lunches were delivered the same day to Doreen’s Place at Transition Projects, located just down the street from our office.

Community service is a cornerstone of our firm culture at LRS and we are proud to share our 2025 charitable impact report! This year we supported 40 nonprofits and charitable organizations, providing critical services that support our communities to thrive.

Our team continued to show their commitment through service. Nearly half of LRS employees used Volunteer Paid time, contributing a total of 131 hours of community service throughout the year. A special thank you to our Charitable Committee for making this impact possible!

Last night, our Auto Studio team had a great time at the Sneak Peek Charity Preview of the Oregon International Auto Show in Portland; an evening where creativity, craftsmanship, and community impact come together. Returning for the first time since 2022, Sneak Peek offered more than just a first look at the latest in automotive design and engineering. The event also supported important local nonprofits including Victory Academy, The Boys & Girls Club of Portland Metropolitan Area, and Meals on Wheels People and we are grateful to be able to support this.

It was inspiring to connect with peers, celebrate design across disciplines, and be part of a night that highlights the power of design to bring people together. As we celebrate our firm’s 50th year, supporting events like this reflects our ongoing commitment to design excellence and community impact.
