When you make bags and teach bag making day in and day out, it’s not an exaggeration to say that a great tool can change your life.

Enter: our beloved Rivet Removal Tool. When Ellie first discovered this thing, the glee in the studio was palpable. There were actual gasps of delight. There may have even been happy tears. Okay, maybe not tears, but you get the picture.

Before the rivet removal tool came into our lives, removing a wonky rivet required small jewelry pliers, some patience, and some careful finagling. It was doable, but it wasn’t necessarily easy or pleasant. But with the rivet removal tool, all you do is line up the rivet to the right size hole, hold the strike post over it, give it a quick strike with a mallet, and then PLINK! The rivet pops right out.

(But seriously, if you don’t have one, get one.)
