With over 30 years in the resale business, from the vintage jewelry and collectibles circuit, to the recycled rag industry, Patti Smith continues to celebrate the familiar saying, "Everything old is new again", with the April 2011 opening of her shop Patti Smith West. A constantly evolving array of one-of-kind finds including jewelry and accessories, small furniture items, home and garden parapher

nalia, vintage toys and games, books and original art, artifacts and craft. Even most of the display pieces are for sale! Patti Smith West supports the concept of 'catch and release'. Consignment items will be considered Monday through Friday during business hours. And while you're in the store, you're sure to find a new treasure to replace the old.

OK… You asked for it here are just a couple pictures that I have unearthed so far of my Paradise clothing line… Revamping vintage sports coats into fashionable one-of-a-kind pieces!(I kind of borrowed the idea from John Paul Gaultier at the time) In the background of one picture you’ll see pants and tops made out of barkcloth! (Remember folks this was the 80s and 90s!) the red plaid dress I’m wearing in the one picture is part of my line… we did them in a series of one of a kind fabrics(I adopted the pattern from 1930s dress I loved!)
