Peony season is here in my yard in Mount Tabor. Color charm was the first to bloom, I am waiting for the others to follow. A new friend came over last night and I gave her the first two peonies in a vintage. milk glass vase. She probably doesn’t know how valuable those peonies were to me or how much selflessness that took. Ha!

Happy Spring! This Honsu wallpaper in our client’s entry is such a show stopper. I have had the pleasure of working with a client who loves color, vintage, and flora as much as I do. Like me she finds joy in fresh flowers in her house from the garden. We are very close to our final installation in April, and can’t wait to show you the bespoke color and pattern combinations!

I love learning about people’s stories, sometimes items my clients acquire tell me more about them than they do! Yes, I infused color into this modern Bend, Oregon home - giving it a cheerful yet sophisticated modern western style - but how did I come up with the color combination and vibe throughout? Well I find clients often gravitate to a similar color signature. Hints included a pillow on the sofa, red accents in her closet and kitchen, and a blanket she owned - now part of the custom ottoman. You should also see the shoes in her closet! 👀
