We started by building wood forms in six shapes, then developed our own terrazzo mix—fine-tuning the aggregate, pigment, and cement. Once poured and cured, each tile was ground and polished back to reveal the surface.

Terrazzo tile study for the Selling elevators.

Inspired by the original lobby floor, but not trying to match it exactly. We kept the geometry and played with rotation and layering to give it a different rhythm inside the cab.
