We’re excited to share that Fieldwork was honored with a 2026 Residential Design Architecture Award (RDAA) from Residential Design Magazine, with the Willamette Pool House receiving a Citation Award! A big thank you to the jurors, , and our incredible clients, collaborators, and Fieldwork team for making this possible.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Willamette Pool House is perched on a bluff, offering sweeping views up and down the river. It supports a new pool and spa, along with a lounge, kitchenette, changing room, steam shower, and bathroom. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors extend the interior seamlessly to a covered patio with an outdoor dining area and kitchen. A ceiling of locally sourced Oregon white oak continues to an exterior metal slat sunscreen. Skylights flood the steam shower’s tiled walls and custom concrete sink with natural light, enhancing the space with warmth and brightness.

At Alpenglow Community Park, Fieldwork designed three structures: an event pavilion, picnic shelter, and pedestrian bridge. A material palette of weathering steel, concrete, and locally sourced Ponderosa pine anchors the architecture in Bend’s high desert landscape.
