The design of each of my towels and table linens is inspired by nature and by my verve for color. I appreciate functional objects representative of good design. Each item is unique - individually printed using a process that begins with carving my drawings onto a pliable rubber surface and mount it on wood to create a stamp. To make a towel, pillow or textile, I hand paint the stamp again and agai
n to create printed impressions that mirror gardens, both real and imagined. The fabrics I print on are always made of natural fibers. Quality is extremely important to me, so the textiles used are mostly produced by small sewers. As such, sizes vary slightly from item to item. Fabric paint colors are hand-mixed to my liking. The paints are eco-friendly, food safe and heat set, to withstand healthy and rigorous use, as well as repeated washing.
