Hey insta friends! Long time no see! Sorry for going MIA, I got a new job, applied for grad school and did some traveling, so I’ve kept myself busy! But I wanted to check in and post a work in progress watercolor painting I worked on today, inspired by a picture I took in Vancouver, WA last year. I hope the spring is treating you well 🥰

I painted this for my twin sister for our birthday! Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of the final painting (I added some shadows to our sweatshirts) but this is close enough 🥰 we were on the Appalachian Trail, where I got my name, Snail Guardian! 😄 hers is Arrowhead. Happy 29th, Tor! ._

I hosted a Wood Burning Workshop for the first time ever this weekend! I’m very proud of how it turned out and how well everyone did. I enjoyed the whole process of prepping, teaching and watching the participants create their own art! My favorite thing to do is bring people together and be creative. What a wonderful way to start the autumn season! 🍂

Thank you to everyone who participated and to for allowing me to host the event in their great space!
